Republican Begins Raising Money for NY AG Race
He hasn’t formally declared his candidacy for New York attorney general, but Republican John Cahill began fundraising. The former top deputy to GOP Gov. George Pataki filed Board of Election papers establishing a campaign committee. Incumbent Eric Schneiderman (D) is considered the most vulnerable of the three statewide elected officials.
