A school bus driver is hospitalized following a crash involving her bus and a tractor trailer in western New York.

No children were on the bus Wednesday when a truck driver ran a stop sign at an intersection in the town of Concord, south of Buffalo, and collided. The 56-year-old bus driver, Marlene Golabek, was taken by helicopter to Erie County Medical Center, where she was in stable condition.

Truck driver David Barry of Maryland, was not hurt. The 26-year-old was cited for failure to obey a stop sign, failure to yield, and a log book violation.
