NJ Co. Working to Free Tourist Detained in N. Korea
The New Jersey tour company an American man was traveling with when he was detained in North Korea earlier this month said Friday it is working to resolve the situation, The Associated Press reported. Uri Tours customer Matthew Miller, 24, was detained for “improper behavior” while he was being processed to enter the country as a tourist, North Korean state media reported Saturday. He tore up his visa and shouted that he wanted to seek asylum.
