PETA Wants Roadside Memorial for Dead Cows

A radical animal rights group wants to install a 10-foot tombstone for cows at the site of a recent truck crash in Albany, the Albany Times- Union reported. People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals says that 11 cows died on April 15 when an 18-wheeler crashed. A local official doubted a permit would be granted.
