Cuomo Gets Australian Park Named for Him

CANBERRA -

Gov. Andrew Cuomo will have his first park named for him without having to allocate a penny. Australia’s government said they will rename a section of forest in the Onkaparinga National Park for NY’s governor, as part of awarding him the South Australian International Climate Change Leadership Award. “Since he came to office in 2011, Gov. Cuomo has taken a leading role in climate change reform,” Environment Minister Ian Hunter said.
