Transit Union to Get $6M in MTA Pact
A tentative contract deal between the MTA and Transport Workers Union Local 100 includes $6 million in payments into a fund used by the union in a “side letter agreement” that wasn’t highlighted when the pact was announced last week, the Wall Street Journal reported. A union official said it would primarily be used for medical benefits. Voting on the pact is next week.
