New Rockland Jail Phones Will Tape Calls

Rockland County’s jail is getting a new phone system that will have the ability to record inmates’ conversations, the Journal News reported. Inmates will be informed that their calls may be taped with the new system, which will also raise thousands in revenue, all of which will be used for inmate rehabilitation services.
