He did not gain much support from the city’s bankers during his mayoral bid, but Bill de Blasio on Thursday named a Wall Street ally to chair the Economic Development Corporation. Michael Schlein will head the City Hall group that negotiates with corporations. The Citigroup exec had worked with de Blasio as aides to Mayor David Dinkins.
