The City Council’s Progressive Caucus elected new leadership to replace Melissa Mark-Viverito, who is now speaker, and Brad Lander, now a deputy leader of the council, Politicker reported. The new leaders are Donovan Richards of Queens and Antonio Reynoso of Williamsburg. The caucus will announce its updated member list later this month.
