Decorative Candle Ignites Toddler’s Hair

A Toms River toddler suffered first-degree burns after a candle set fire to her hair, the Asbury Park Press reported. The 2-year-old girl’s mother was cooking dinner Wednesday when her hair came into contact with a decorative candle that was burning nearby. The mother quickly extinguished the flames with a towel.
