Sergeants and Cabbies Plan Anti-Crime Partnership

NEW YORK

The New York City sergeants’ association and taxi drivers will partner to reduce crime ranging from low-level offenses to terrorism, the New York Post reported. The cops will teach cabbies how to protect themselves against violent passengers. The association said that cabdrivers are on the streets at all hours and can be the “eyes and ears” of police.
