De Blasio Dismisses Chronic Lateness as ‘Noise’

When it comes to government, Mayor de Blasio says, it’s the policies that count, not what time he shows up at events, Politicker reported. A day after arriving 45 minutes late to a press conference, de Blasio said Friday that constant griping from reporters pressed to meet deadlines were mere “noise. What matters is getting the job done for the people.” At an event Thursday, a 4-year-old boy sat down on the floor, tired after waiting for 45 minutes.
