Port Authority Mulls Pay Hikes at All Facilities

JERSEY CITY, N.J. -

The Port Authority is moving ahead with plans to raise minimum pay for workers at all its facilities, its executive director said at Wednesday’s meeting. In January, Patrick Foye demanded that four airlines have a minimum wage of $10.10 for workers at JFK and LaGuardia. Delta and American have already agreed, and a panel voted to see what it will expand it to their other facilities, which include most of New York and New Jersey’s airports, bridges, tunnels and ports.
