Astorino Blasts Political Left to Evangelical Audience
Republican gubernatorial candidate Rob Astorino told evangelicals Tuesday that the left wants to take away their freedoms and attacked Gov. Andrew Cuomo on social record, The Associated Press reported. While the Westchester County executive has focused largely on economic issues, he touched on social issues in a speech to the New Yorker’s Family Research Foundation. “Secularism and so-called progressivism know no bounds among the political left in New York anymore,” he said. “They want it all.”
