Nearly 8,900 NY Licenses Suspended for Back Taxes

ALBANY

Nearly 8,900 New Yorkers have had their driver’s licenses suspended for failing to pay at least $10,000 in back taxes, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said. Another 6,500 paid their debt or are on a payment plan, resulting in an additional $56.4 million for the state.
