Inmate Indicted in Attack On Corrections Officer

A New Jersey inmate accused of beating a corrections officer last month was indicted on attempted murder charges, The Associated Press reported. Fuquan Alexander, 29, choked the officer and punched her numerous times on Feb. 1. She is in middle of a 30-year sentence for carjacking and kidnapping.
