Winter Drives Up Overtime on NJ Toll Roads
The New Jersey Turnpike and Garden State Parkway, New Jersey’s two major toll roads, had to pay more overtime in 2013’s snowstorms, the Asbury Park Press reported. It cost $8.4 million in overtime to plow snow and spread salt, bringing the total cost for the year to $14.4 million.
