Man Survives Leap From Moving Amtrak Train

SCHENECTADY

A Canadian who jumped from a moving Amtrak train and lived to tell the tale is hospitalized for a mental health evaluation, the Daily Gazette reported. The engineer noticed the man hanging onto the back of the New York City-to-Montreal train Wednesday as it traveling at nearly 100 mph but he slowed the train before the man jumped. The man, who wasn’t injured, was found walking about a mile away.
