Assembly Passes Bill for Paid Leave
New York’s Assembly on Wednesday passed a series of bills intended to provide affordable child care and establish paid leave for medical emergencies, the birth or adoption of a child or to take care of a sick relative, The Associated Press reported. The bills now head to the Senate.
