NYC Payroll Data Update Shows Massive Overtime
The updated payroll information for all 475,000 New York City government workers has been updated online, The Associated Press reported. Fire officials had the highest average pay, at $96,681, and highest overtime at $21,594. A supervisor plumber in the Housing Authority is the overtime leader with $140,655 that brought his total pay to $234,812. Of the top 50 overtime earners, 26 worked in the city’s Housing Authority.
