De Blasio Liberally Funding His Former Office and 5 Borough Presidents
In his budget released last week, Mayor Bill de Blasio nearly doubled the budget for his former office and gave huge boosts to all five borough presidents, Politicker reported. Public Advocate Letitia James will receive an extra $700,000 to bring her office budget to $2.3 million. He also added $1.7 million to the Staten Island borough president, $1.5 million for Queens, $2 million for Brooklyn, $1.8 million for the Bronx and $1.7 million for Manhattan.
