Man Charged With Pointing Flashlight at Landing Plane
Michael Euto, a 49-year-old, was charged Wednesday with shining an 18-million candle-power spotlight at a small passenger plane as it was landing at a northern New York airport, The Associated Press reported. The Cape Air flight from Albany was approaching Massena Airport when the light illuminated the cockpit, with six people on board. The plane landed safely.
