Teacher in NYC School Lab Blast Reassigned

NEW YORK

A Manhattan chemistry teacher was removed from the classroom pending an investigation after two of her students suffered burns during a lab experiment, the New York Post reported. Anna Poole will sit in a “rubber room” at the elite Beacon School. The Jan. 2 experiment produced a fireball that engulfed a 16-year-old sophomore, who remains hospitalized. Another student was treated for first-degree burns and released.
