De Blasio Rips Biden’s Dig at LaGuardia Airport
Mayor Bill de Blasio showed Friday he doesn’t care for Vice President Joe Biden’s comparing LaGuardia to “some third world country.”
De Blasio concedes the airport needs upgrades but praises the hard work of its employees.
“I respect the vice president,” the mayor said, “but I think his comments were inappropriate. … So, as a proud New Yorker, I didn’t like that comment, and I think it was not the right way to talk about it.”
