Verizon Now Available in 35 Manhattan Subways

Verizon customers can now use their cellphones in 35 of Manhattan’s subway stations, including Rockefeller Center, Lincoln Center and Times Square, transit officials said Tuesday. The program is being paid for by Transit Wireless, which hopes to make the service available in all subways by 2017.
