Less than a month after leaving the New York City comptroller’s office, John Liu became a professor for public policy and municipal finance at Baruch College’s School of Public Affairs, he said in a statement. As the city’s chief auditor, Liu was credited with saving hundreds of millions of dollars and for simplifying the budget process. He began his part-time post on Thursday.
