A key figure in the New Jersey bridge scandal attended Tuesday’s State of the Union speech as a guest of Rep. Bill Pascrell, a Democrat who says he was not trying to send a message about Bridgegate, The Record reported. Fort Lee Mayor Mark Sokolich, Pascrell says, has exhibited a “standup attitude” on the bridge issue.
