Man Charged in Deaths of 5 In Boro Park Found Unfit

NEW YORK -

A judge ruled that a Chinese immigrant accused of killing five members of a family who was living on the outskirts of Boro Park is suffering from a mental illness that makes him unfit for trial, The Associated Press reported. Mingdong Chen, 25, has symptoms of severe mental illness that prevent him from making reasoned decisions and will be hospitalized, his lawyer said. Chen faces five counts of murder in the October deaths of his cousin’s wife and children.
