ATV Rider Survives Crash, 10 Hours on Lake
A 21-year-old man is recovering after spending hours lying unconscious on the frozen-over Lake Champlain when his all-terrain vehicle crashed, The Post-Star of Glens Falls reported. Jake Rovelli crashed around midnight Saturday while trying to drive up a shoreline embankment. He was thrown 60 feet back onto the frozen lake, knocked unconscious and didn’t wake up until after dawn Sunday. Rovelli crawled about a quarter-mile to some ice fishermen, who called for help.
