A Wall Street Journal reporter remains missing days after leaving his home in northern New Jersey to go for a walk.

Dozens of police, rescue workers and volunteers were out searching again Thursday in Long Hill Township for 55-year-old David Bird, who disappeared late Saturday afternoon.

Long Hill Police Chief Michael Mazzeo says there has been no evidence of foul play. Much of the search Thursday focused on an area around the Passaic River in the Morris County community.

The Wall Street Journal says Bird is a liver-transplant recipient who takes medication twice a day. His wife, Nancy, says he did not have the medication with him and could become ill without it.

Bird has worked for Dow Jones & Co., the Journal’s publisher, for more than 20 years.
