New York State Police issued more than 100 tickets during a three-hour crackdown on speeders on a stretch of Interstate 84 in Dutchess County Sunday. Seventy-nine drivers were ticketed for breaking the 65-mph speed limit, and 31 for other infractions such as failure to wear a seat belt, driver use of a hand-held cellphone or other electronic device, and violation of the state’s “move-over” law.
