Nassau Exec Sworn In on iPad Bible

Nassau Executive Edward Mangano was sworn in for his second term Thursday, pledging to continue his conservative record. But after searching the building for a print Bible, the Republican, who won by 18 points in November, finally ordered it downloaded onto an iPad, on which he took the oath, Newsday reported. “From a janitor to county executive, who could have imagined,” he told the crowd, which included Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
