NJ Councilman Killed in Crash, Day Before Inaugural

KEYPORT, N.J.

A New Jersey community is mourning the death of a borough councilman, who was killed in a car accident one day before he was due to be sworn in to his second term, the Asbury Park Press reported. Clemente Toglia of Keyport, 53, was killed Tuesday when his car crossed into an oncoming traffic lane. Officials do not know yet when or how they will replace the Republican.
