NYC Council Bill Would Ban Pashkevilen
In response to the recent dumping of thousands of papers on the streets of Boro Park, Councilman David Greenfield said in a statement that he would propose a bill to ban the practice. “It damages our community, litters our streets, causes our sewers to back up and causes innocent people to be fined,” said the Brooklyn Democrat, adding that he wants perps to receive “serious consequences of jail time and a significant fine.”
