17 Arrested for Stealing Jobless Benefits
Seventeen people were charged in Nassau County with grand larceny for stealing unemployment benefits, The Associated Press reported. If convicted they could face up to seven years in prison. DA Kathleen Rice says the arrests took place over the last month following a joint investigation with the state Labor Department.
