Accused Indian Diplomat Now Registered at U.N.
India’s deputy consul general, who is accused of lying on a visa form about how much she paid her housekeeper, was registered Monday as a member of the country’s mission to the U.N., granting Devyani Khobragade greater immunity following a humiliating arrest and search that inflamed her country, The Associated Press reported.
