Rep. Rangel Seeking 23rd Term in Congress

NEW YORK

New York Rep. Charles Rangel announced Thursday he will run for re-election for a near record 23rd term. The 83-year-old Harlem Democrat first won election in 1970, and in his most recent campaign in 2012, won a hard-fought primary. In 2010, he was censured by the House for various financial actions.
