For NYC Quintuplets, a Big Birthday: Their Fifth
A set of quintuplets in Staten Island are celebrating a fifth birthday. WABC visited Alessia, Amanda, Emily Ann, Matthew and Ella Ferrante on Friday. The children, born on Dec. 27, 2008, were their parents’ first. Now, Jamie Ferrante says, everyone asks them how they do it. The answer amounts to a lot of everything: almost 30,000 diapers over the first two years, and 40 bottles a day when the infants were small. Nowadays, it’s cases of eggs and gallons of milk for the kindergarteners.
