NJ Official Earns $290,000 From 6 Public Jobs

A municipal finance officer and tax collector in New Jersey landed his sixth public sector job Wednesday when the Highlands borough council hired him to balance their books with a $40,000 salary, the Asbury Park Press reported. Patrick DeBlasio already collects about $250,000 for five other public jobs. Mayor Frank Nolan questioned his ablity to pay attention to the new job, but he was outvoted.
