Funeral for NYPD Officer Killed in Crash

An NYPD officer killed in a crash last week was remembered Monday for her compassion and love of life. A police honor guard bore the flag-draped casket of Officer Elisa Toro at her funeral. Toro was off-duty on Dec. 10 when her car crashed on an exit ramp of the Queensboro Bridge. Her vehicle rolled and struck a storefront. She died at the scene and is survived by two sons.
