Both NJ’s Senators to Fast for Immigration Protest

NEWARK, N.J. (AP) —

New Jersey’s two U.S. senators are planning a 24-hour fast in solidarity with protesters in Washington, D.C. pushing for immigration law changes, Sens. Robert Menendez and Cory Booker said Wednesday during a visit to the group Fast for Families. The group has been on a water-only fast to urge the GOP-led House to consider a bill that passed the Senate.
