Feds to Examine Rail Line of Bronx Crash for 2 Months

NEW YORK (AP) —

For two months starting Monday, federal rail experts will be judging safety compliance and culture at the Bronx commuter railroad that suffered a fatal derailment last week, including engineer oversight, medical requirements for crew members and compliance with federal regulations. Metro-North said Thursday it’s already taking its own look at safety.
