NJ Lawmaker Loses by 39 Votes After Recount

MAYS LANDING, N.J. (AP) -

A New Jersey state assemblyman has conceded an election after a recount showed him losing by 39 votes. Republican John Amodeo, who has served for six years, called Democrat Vince Mazzeo on Tuesday to offer his concession. Mazzeo, who is also mayor of Norhfield, contributes to a 48-32 Democrat majority in the Assembly.
