Race Charges Havee Retailers Listing Rights

NEW YORK (AP) -

Responding to allegations of racial profiling, some major retailers agreed Monday to create a customer bill of rights that will explicitly ban profiling. Chains including Barneys, Macy’s, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bergdorf Goodman, Lord & Taylor and The Gap signed on to the bill, which states that workers who violate the prohibition on profiling will be disciplined and could be fired.
