DA-Elect Hires Tough Prosecutor as Top Aide

BROOKLYN -

Incoming Brooklyn District Attorney Kenneth Thompson announced Sunday that a former prosecutor who made a name for successfully convicting New York’s crime bosses will be his No. 2. Mark Feldman, Thompson’s first major personnel announcement, worked in the past for DA’s in Brooklyn, Manhattan and Queens, and is now the MTA deputy inspector general. Feldman is expected to lead the transition of the office for Thompson.
