Man Drove Drunk to Turn Himself In
A man charged with violating an order of protection was nearly three times over the limit for driving while intoxicated when he drove 30 miles to turn himself in.
Dominick Lombardi agreed on Monday to turn himself in at the state police barracks in Brunswick. When he arrived, he had a blood-alcohol content of .23 percent. The legal limit is .08 percent. He was charged with criminal contempt and aggravated DWI.
