Barneys Will Monitor NYPD in Store Stops

NEW YORK (AP) —

Barneys New York says it will start monitoring the police as they monitor shoppers in its flagship Manhattan store after two African American shoppers said they were racially profiled there earlier this year. Police say they were shoplifters. A Barneys-commissioned report found that the luxury store had nothing to do with the police action.
