PA Blames GWB Lane Closures on Traffic Study

TRENTON, N.J. (AP) —

The Port Authority said Monday they were wrong to close two local-access lanes of the George Washington Bridge without notice in September. Deputy Executive Director Bill Baroni says two of three lanes for Fort Lee-based traffic were closed for a traffic

study. But Assembly Transportation Committee Chairman John Wisniewski said Baroni is dancing around the issue.
