HEAP Opens for Winter Heating Aid

New York residents can begin applying for winter heating aid starting Monday, Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced, with the federally funded Home Energy Assistance Program, which provides up to $650 for eligible households.
People living outside New York City seeking a regular HEAP benefit can submit applications online at myBenefits.ny.gov or by calling (800) 342-3009.
