The ironically named Daisy Cowit of Wawayanda was distracted by her cellphone when her SUV hit six cows near a dairy farm on Oct. 28. All the cows survived, but three suffered serious injuries. She nearly struck two farm workers walking across the road. She told police she only looked at her phone to see an incoming call.
